The SUPERIOR K-Master Series is the pure-bred cousin of the newPrime, designed specifically for shops that need a dedicated, high-speed coping station. This machine uses a 6-axis industrial robot to perform thermal cutting on H-beams, channels, angles, and box tubing with surgical precision.

  • Longitudinal Cutting: Synchronised carriage control allows for long rip cuts, perfect for splitting beams into T-bars, cutting tapered sections, or creating castellated beams.
  • Smart Layout: Automatically marks weld lines and part numbers using the plasma arc, ensuring your fitters have a roadmap for assembly.

Unlike traditional beam lines that just drill and saw, the K-Master uses a 6-axis robot to carve steel into any geometry required by your detailing software.

Unleash the 6-Axis Robot

The K-Master isn’t limited to straight cuts. The robotic arm articulates to perform:

  • Complex Copes: Flange thins, web penetrations, and notches.
  • Weld Prep Beveling: Cut chamfers and bevels on flanges and webs in a single pass, making parts ready for welding immediately after unloading.
  • 3D Profiling: Process square and rectangular tubes (box sections) with intricate cutouts for connections.

Beyond Standard Coping

The K-Master turns your beam line into a versatile processing centre.

  • Beam Splitting & Tapering: The robot synchronises with the material feed carriage to perform long rip cuts along the length of the beam. This allows you to manufacture your own T-bars or tapered beams for pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) in-house.
  • Plasma Marking: Eliminate the soapstone. The machine uses low-amperage plasma to scribe layout locations for stiffeners and clips, reducing fit-up time by up to 50%.
