The EdgeBlast Mesh Conveyor Advantage. The core of this system is its “All-Angles” cleaning philosophy. Workpieces are placed on a specialised wire mesh conveyor that is highly transparent to the abrasive stream.
- 360° Coverage: Turbines are strategically positioned both horizontally and vertically around the tunnel. They blast the components from the top and, crucially, from the bottom through the mesh belt. This ensures that pockets, undersides, and internal geometries are cleaned uniformly.
- Zero Impact: Unlike tumble belts, parts remain stationary on the conveyor relative to each other. This eliminates collision damage, making it safe for precision aluminium housings, thin steel pressings, and brittle iron castings.

- Automatic Triggering: Sensors detect incoming parts and automatically activate the shotblasting cycle, optimising energy use and abrasive consumption.
- Integrated Cleaning: As parts exit the blast zone, they pass through a blow-off chamber where high-velocity air removes shot trapped in crevices, ensuring parts are ready for immediate assembly or painting.
- Process Control: Both the conveyor speed and abrasive flow rate are fully adjustable, allowing operators to switch between heavy descaling and light cosmetic finishing instantly.
