The VBL Series Beam Welding Machine is specifically designed for the continuous production of welded I and T beams, whether parallel or tapered, with the web plate positioned vertically. This advanced system eliminates the need for tack welding, except at the leading edge, once the web is aligned with the flange’s centerline. The welding process begins by feeding the web and the first flange into the machine, where simultaneous welding is performed on both sides of the web along the full length of the beam.
After completing the first flange welding, the section is rotated 180°, and the alignment and welding process are repeated for the second flange. This method ensures strong, precise, and consistent welds, optimising efficiency and quality in beam fabrication.
