BURCH KLB Series Belt Grinding Heads

BURCH KLB Series Belt Grinding Heads

The BURCH KLB Series delivers precision internal grinding for small and long vessels. With adjustable pressure, compact design, and high-torque motors (up to 7.5 kW), the KLB 250 and KLB 400 ensure consistent surface finishing and weld blending in confined spaces — ideal for sanitary and industrial vessel fabrication.

Applications include:

  • Internal polishing and weld seam blending of small to mid-sized tanks
  • Cleaning and finishing of sanitary containers
  • Surface refinement for corrosion resistance or coating preparation

The BURCH KLB Series Belt Grinding Heads are purpose-built for internal grinding and finishing of small-diameter and elongated vessels. Designed for precision and accessibility, the KLB series provides smooth and consistent internal surface finishing, even in deep or narrow cylindrical containers used across food, beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

Two key variants — the KLB 250 and KLB 400 — provide flexibility for different vessel sizes and lengths.

  • The KLB 250 is ideal for compact vessels with internal diameters as small as 250 mm, offering high precision and control in confined geometries.
  • The KLB 400 extends this capability to larger or longer containers, maintaining uniform contact pressure along the vessel’s inner wall.

Both models feature adjustable grinding pressure (0–400 N) and interchangeable contact wheels, enabling tailored performance for various materials and surface quality requirements. Compact, durable, and easy to integrate, the KLB heads can be used as standalone tools or as modules within fully automated vessel finishing systems.
