The BURCH BSK Series Belt Grinding Heads are purpose-built for grinding and finishing cylindrical vessels, pipes, and tanks. Designed for both internal and external surfaces, the BSK series delivers exceptional precision and surface consistency across welded seams and curved geometries.
Available in four models — BSK 50, 65, 80, and 100 — the system accommodates a range of vessel diameters, with the smallest grindable inside diameters starting from 500 mm up to 1000 mm, depending on the model. Each head is equipped with adjustable grinding pressure (0–800 N) to ensure optimal contact between the abrasive belt and the workpiece surface, providing smooth, uniform results without distortion or overheating.
High-performance contact wheels (Ø 250–300 mm) and precision belt drives support consistent belt tracking and controlled material removal. The BSK series can be installed as standalone grinding units or integrated into automated vessel finishing systems with optional rotating fixtures and linear feed mechanisms.
