The SUPERIOR Tumble Belt Shotblasting Machine is engineered to solve the challenge of cleaning high volumes of small to medium-sized workpieces. Whether you are deburring plastic components or descaling heavy iron castings, this machine delivers consistent results through continuous tumbling action.
The EdgeBlast Tumble Belt Advantage. The heart of the system is its “Caterpillar” loop belt. Workpieces are loaded into the trough formed by the belt. As the belt moves, the parts gently tumble over one another, constantly exposing new surfaces to the high-velocity abrasive stream thrown by the overhead turbine. This ensures that no “shadow zones” remain and every part achieves a uniform finish.

Optimised Belt Options
- Rubber Belt (R-Series): Ideal for aluminium die-castings, brass, and delicate batch loads. The rubber absorbs impact, preventing part-on-part damage while reducing noise.
- Steel Belt (S-Series): Built for the toughest environments. Designed to handle heavy iron castings, forgings, and hot parts that would damage softer materials.
-
Automated Workflow. While compact, the EdgeBlast Tumble Belt is designed for serious production:
- Loading: An optional hydraulic skip loader tips a full batch of parts directly into the machine.
- Blasting: The door locks, and the belt begins tumbling parts under the blast stream.
- Unloading: Once the cycle is complete, the door opens, and the belt reverses direction, automatically discharging the clean parts onto a vibrating conveyor or into a bin.
Key Features & Customisation
- Mass Production Ready: Despite its small footprint, it is designed for high-capacity throughput.
- Foundry Tough: Excellent for removing foundry sand, burnt-on carbon, and heat-treat scale.
- Compressed Air Option: Can be equipped with nozzle blasting systems for special applications using non-turbine media like glass beads or corundum.
- Smart Integration: Turbines and belt speeds can be controlled via frequency regulators to fine-tune the finish quality.
