The BURCH BOK Series Belt Grinding Heads are engineered specifically for precision grinding and finishing of container bottoms and dished ends, both on the inner and outer surfaces. These systems are ideal for polishing, blending, and smoothing weld seams on elliptical, conical, or flat vessel bases, commonly used in pressure vessels, tanks, and food or pharmaceutical containers.
Designed with adjustable grinding pressure (0–800 N) and equipped with contact wheels suited to both convex and concave surfaces, the BOK series ensures uniform material removal and a consistent surface finish even on complex geometries.
Each grinding head can be configured to suit specific vessel diameters or curvature profiles, available in two primary models — the BOK-I and BOK-II — both capable of handling demanding dished end profiles with smooth, vibration-free operation.
These belt grinding heads are typically integrated into custom frames or complete grinding systems, allowing Burch Maschinenbau to provide modular and application-specific configurations to meet exact production needs.
